  When I first found out about the merge I had a feeling I'd have strong feelings of switching banks. Since the transition has been underway I've had nothing but issues and it's beyond frustrating. Today, the first day after they closed down their website and everything I checked my account before I left the house and everything was fine. I get to the store and my card was declined. Checked my balance on an atm and received invalid transaction. Since day 1 I've wasted so much gas because of the switch because of being declined and the issue with how my card just randomly for no reason or explanation was deactivated. I absolutely can't stand wasting time and money for unnecessary reasons. I've been frustrated since day 1 and am borderline of switching. Online banking looks better than ever right now.

  A few years ago when I switched from a major national bank to OC Home, I could not have been happier with their schedule of fees, personable customer service, and general quality banking services. Now that they have joined Ocean First, fees are up, I don't see the friendly employees I used to deal with, and debit card transactions are unreliable at best, but no-one seems to know how to fix card errors, and they want to charge me for a replacement card even though the card is not the issue. If they are going to penny nickle and dime customers like a big national bank, step up and provide 24/7 customer service like one, otherwise prepare to lose customers.
